This one is IP... Went to a huge card show this weekend. Tons of legends there (Pete Rose, Rod Carew, Bruce Sutter, Maury Wills, many more) but I only had the time (and money) to focus on one of my favorite players ever. Yes, he may have his personal issues but there's no denying his greatness on the field.
Lawrence Taylor
Had him sign a 16x20 and inscribe it with "Sir Lawrence of the Meadowlands" which, besides being a really cool title, is what Tony Soprano called him when LT made a cameo on an episode of The Sopranos. He was writing his number and NYG on everyone's items even if you didn't pay for an inscription. He took his time talking to you about where and how you wanted your item signed to make sure it looked beautiful... real considerate guy.
Found this custom double-matted frame at the card show with a NY Giants medallion in it, bought it, and had it framed on-site. I think the result is one of the nicest things I own, especially being a Giants fan. Also had JSA (they were on-site authenticating items) slap a sticker on it with a matching COA just for good measure.
