Thanks man. I had a blast.

awesome stuff. wish i had big time ball players coming to my city/state. That Ripken looks amazing along with the Lonborg. Very nice additions.

Thanks, I'm super happy with the way they came out. I guess it helps to live a couple hours from New York City. This card show happens about 45 minutes outside of NYC and I had to drive about an hour and a half to get there. Totally worth it though.

Finally... the mailbox is warming up!

    Wade Boggs
Had to jump on the bandwagon. He's been such a reliable and FAST signer. 11 day turnaround. I sent a check for $10 with two 8x10s and requested the HOF inscriptions. Had to send one Yankees, one Red Sox... one fielding, one hitting. Love how these came out.

    Roger Waters
I've gotten him IP and he is always a great signer. After meeting him this summer I have become re-obsessed with Pink Floyd's music. He wasn't just one of the guys in the band... he wrote most of their most popular material: Dark Side of The Moon, Wish You Were here, The Wall, etc. As an artist, this guy has written and created some of the most iconic works of all time, in any media. There are so many great things to get signed that I want. This photo was one of them.

With minimal research on the internet I found a home address for Roger in the USA. It wasn't on any TTM or autograph collecting site... I found this one on my own. So I figured I'd try my luck and sent off an 8x10. 11 days later (sent the same day as Boggs) it showed up in my mailbox! Roger hand-wrote a note that said "Don't write here again. Thank You!" so I guess he doesn't want the address to get out. That means, unfortunately, I'm not going to share the address. But again, I found this on the internet with just a little bit of research. Probably took me about 20 minutes or less.

Iconic photo of Pink Floyd with Roger front and center in the black shirt. Wish he had used a silver or gold marker, but I still can't complain. Thrilled that it came back!

    Bud Harrelson
Sent a 1972 Topps. Bud played shortstop on the Mets when they won the World Series in 1969 and was a coach when they won in 1986. Asked for a 69/86 WSC inscription but didn't get it. Still a nice, FAST success... six days door to door.

One in the mail and one IP. First, the IP from this weekend...

    Henry Hynoski
The young NY Giants fullback was doing a signing at a local Buffalo Wild Wings. I had actually printed two 8x10s to send him TTM but never got around to it so figured I'd go to the signing and get them done, sure thing.

Henry was a top prospect coming out of college before he got hurt in the NFL scouting combine but The Hynocerous has been an amazing blocking back for the Giants. They just cut Bradshaw so Henry might even carry the ball a little more now. He couldn't have been a nicer guy when I met him and even let me put him on the phone with my girlfriend and talked to her for a few minutes (he is her favorite player).

    Got one signed for me

    One for my brother

And one for the girlfriend, inscribed "The Hynocerous"

    And now the TTM...

    John Glenn
A true American hero, he was the third American in space and the first to orbit the Earth. He was also a Marine Corps pilot and a US Senator. I sent three 8x10s and a silver marker. He didn't use the silver and sent a note (below) basically saying he has to limit the number of autographs per person but he still signed all three.

At 91 years old he has a beautiful signature... and there are very few astronauts who sign for free TTM or in person and they all charge insane prices. If you're interested in space, astronauts, or explorers, get this pioneer while you can!

    Art Donovan
Sent Mr. Donovan, who is 87 years old, two 4x6 photos (couldn't find any that would print out larger than that) along with $5. Told him to keep one but he signed both and sent them back. Even wrote "Go Ravens!!" on my SASE. Pretty cool and glad to add this beast from the legendary late-1950s Colts teams. Should have asked for a 2x NFL champ or 5x Pro Bowl inscription but I didn't. Still, very happy to get him.

    Jamie Moyer
I think "Oldest Pitcher to Ever Win A Game" is a pretty cool record to hold. And even if Jamie has only managed a slightly above average career, he's done it over 27 seasons in Major League Baseball. It's impressive no matter how you slice it. Unfortunately it looks like his career on the mound may have finally come to an end as it doesn't look like any team is picking him up this season.

I sent Moyer a career retrospective of sorts in cards: his rookie card on the Cubs, a mid-career Orioles card (my favorite team), a Phillies card with whom he won the World Series in 2008, and the nice 2012 Topps commemorating his "oldest to win a game" record.

    Ransom Jackson
A solid third baseman in the first half of the 1950's, the Brooklyn Dodgers traded for him in 1956 as a possible replacement for Jackie Robinson as his career was ending. As soon as Jackie retired though, Jackson blew out his knee and that was basically the end of his career.

I sent him two copies of each of the photos below (an 8x10, a 5x7, and a 4x6) and told him to keep one of each, which he did. He signed all three nicely in blue.

    Krist Novoselic
Founding member, bass player, one third of legendary rock band Nirvana. Krist has always been known as a great signer, a guy who really appreciates his fans. I asked him to personalize one to my sister, one to my friend, and the one to me. He also included a very cool note on a Nirvana card.

    Jimmy Piersall
Played in MLB from 1950 to 1967. He's bipolar and was well-noted for all sorts of colorful incidents throughout his career. His life story was even made into a feature film in 1957. He was a 2x All Star and 2x Gold Glove winner. He also grew up in the same town as my father and grandfather which I said in my letter.

I sent an 8x10 (first photo) and two copies of a 5x7 (second photo). told him to keep one of the 5x7s which he did. Quick return, eight days door to door.

    Tom Coughlin
Sent three 8x10s to the 2x Super Bowl champ coach of my favorite team. He returned them all unsigned but sent back this 8.5x11 photo of his own. Looks like he doesn't sign anything but this photo and he always personalizes so if you want one just send him an SASE. I've done a bit of research and I'm pretty positive they are authentic.

    Harry Carson
I've sent to the Giants legend and Hall of Famer before but I was disappointed with how it came out so decided to send again. Sent him three 8x10s this time (two of the one of him and LT) and told him to keep the one that was a double. He signed all three though. Very nice of him.

I found the photo of Harry and Lawrence Taylor in the Giants locker room opening what appears to be fan mail. I figured since I collect TTM it would be a cool photo to have him sign. Not going to send to LT though as I am positive his TTM autographs are not authentic.

    Basil McRae
Basil was a solid enforcer in the NHL during my childhood, amassing 2457 penalty minutes over 16 seasons which puts him 24th on the all-time list. I'd be lying if I didn't admit that his cameo in The Mighty Ducks (also a big part of my childhood) made me want to send to him.

I sent two 5x7 blowups of the North Stars card and told him to keep one, along with an actual card of Basil on the Blues. I was expecting to get two autographs back but he signed both 5x7s, the card, as well as one of the index card protectors in the envelope making this a 4/3 return.
