Thanks! Me too, very happy with how it came out.
One TTM today and one IP from the weekend. First the TTM...
George Foreman
Thrilled to get him. I sent an 8x10 of him knocking down Joe Frazier which he sent back unsigned. A note was included that said, and this is an exact quote "Mr. Foreman will not sign pictures showing punches being pass." I guess that means photos where he's throwing a punch? Maybe it's a religious/pacifist thing. Weird. Anyway, he sent me his own 8x10 which I'm very happy with.

And for the IP, this one is music, not sports but it's so nice I wanted to share it...
Roger Waters
In case the name doesn't ring a bell, Roger is one of the founding members of Pink Floyd. He was the bass player, co-lead singer, and wrote most of the band's most popular albums including Wish You Were Here, The Wall, Animals, and of course the legendary Dark Side of The Moon. I had him sign a vinyl album cover of Dark Side for me.
Besides being the highest level of legend in rock music, Roger also happens to be an excellent signer and stops on his way into every show. I had prepped my own silver marker but I got nervous because his security guy said he would only use his own marker to sign for everyone... but turns out his own marker was the most beautiful and perfectly working gold paint pen I've ever seen! This turned out tremendous. I'm extremely happy with it.

Awesome Foreman, and my jaw dropped when I thought the Waters was a TTM for a second. Looks fantastic, that's one I'd love to have in my collection. congrats!

Thanks. Yeah, the Waters looks incredible, so happy with it. I have heard of people getting him on 8x10s and CD booklets TTM.
I actually sent out a few TTMs this week... getting back on the horse, so to speak. But I have a couple IP successes from this weekend that I'll share here. I'm thrilled with how both of these came out.
Jackie Mason
The 81-year-old comedy legend was doing a rare small club date in NJ so I went. He's still got it! Jackie was incredibly nice to my friend and I who were the only ones who waited for autographs at the end of the show. He talked to us for almost ten minutes which turned into a mini private show with Jackie talking about marriage and dating. Pretty amazing! He signed this record for me and we got photos with him as well. Don't love the positioning of the personalization but overall it still looks fantastic. He's got a beautiful autograph. He even said something like "usually I do a quick signature but I'll give you my full one."

Jake LaMotta
The 90-year-old Raging Bull just finished a weeklong engagement of his autobiographical song-and-dance show in NYC, Lady And The Champ. I went to the final performance and even though Jake is a little slower than he used to be and doesn't hear so well anymore, he was happy to sign and take photos after the show. This is my second time meeting him and the Champ is always a gentleman. I got this 16x20 signed of Jake fighting Laurent Dauthuille. They were insisting that he personalize any large items like this as well as boxing gloves people had... fine with me, this looks great.

Billy Shaw
Only member of the Football Hall of Fame who never played a game in the NFL. Shaw spent his whole career in the AFL with the Buffalo Bills and helped write the book as one of the better pulling guards in the game. Sent him an 8x10 and $5. Apparently I wrote a pretty good letter because he signed and sent an additional 8x10 collage of all the Bills in the HOF, hand-wrote a list of all their names, and wrote a very nice letter back calling my LOR one of the best he's ever received!
The 8x10 that I sent...

The 8x10 that he sent (hard to see his autograph, signed in bottom right)

Handwritten list of Bills HOFers

Letter to me

Nice success with Shaw. He's one of the nicest and most friendly signers you''ll find.

Thanks. Some of these older guys are just so damn nice and friendly. Gotta love it.
Charley Trippi
The 90 year old Hall of Famer still has such a beautiful signature. Only HOFer with 1,000 yards passing, receiving, and rushing. Also a highly decorated college player.

Thank you!
Thanks! I've got the Waters on my wall. I stare at it every day. It's probably the most beautiful thing I own.
Kind words coming from the master. Thank you!
Bill "Spaceman" Lee
Sent him three 8x10s and told him he could keep one or two. Sent back two signed, both with "Earth 2012" inscription. Love this return.
