Real or Fake ?
The patch looks awfully small to have both the I and S in one small square.

While 34/91 and 37/91 are both solid white patches, makes me wonder hmmmmm.

I see no reason why this would be fake....
For one thing its being sold by Beckett. And I have multiples of a few patch cards, and some are solid, some are crazy with lots of breaks.

Horrible hack job on that. Fake all the way. Beckettmedia is simply a consignment auction, they'll sell anything for anyone as long as they get their cut.

They've sold tons of fakes previously. They are simply a consignment dealer. The patch used is the wrong color, material, and patch size for the type of jersey that was used in the Tavares Cup patches not to mention the horrible job of replacing the patch they did.
Here's a link to mwdonalds extensive patch archive http://s536.photobucket.com/albums/f...avares%20Gold/
Anyone who still thinks it's real deserves what they get if they buy it.Last edited by dahabsfan; 12-09-2011 at 02:42 PM.

Could it be from a shoulder patch? The 11/12 Islanders 3rd jersey has a shoulder patch which is a smaller version of their primary logo. (I do realize they could not put a swatch from an 11/12 jersey into a 10/11 card. Just throwing out ideas)

It does look iffy, but not enought to fully call it fake. It wouldn't surprise me though.

I don't know but to call a card fake cause the patch looks cool seems a little preemptive
I mean there are huge logos and small patches what you see can elude you
Shoulder patches are smaller and it could be shoulder patch
To call something fake we need evidence, looking at that there is no conclusive evidence to say that card is fake
