™™™™™, ™™™™™, ™™™™™, ™™™™™, ™™™™™. If sticky toploaders are throwing things outta whack for you it's time to find a new hobby.

And how the heck do you damage a card trying to peel tape off a toploader!?

Most of the cards I have bought online as singles have come in toploaders that are pretty scratched up. So I don't mind that the scotch tape leaves a residue on the toploader if it keeps the PC card I bought safe in transit. I always put the cards I receive in the mail into brand new penny sleeves and toploaders or those magnet cases if its a card from the cup or something. I just have a stack of scratched up tape residue toploaders that I will use for shipping now. So as you can tell I don't think it's that big of a deal.

It shouldn't be a problem, but I don't see why you are using your hands to get the tape off,?(use a tool)

    Redemtions come in tape too

I don't use toploader I get, I put them in fresh sleeves and fresh toploaders, just something I do like a pet peeve, like my own supplies that are new, shiny and unwrinkled/used

I don't tape toploaders shut. Instead I print out the trade notes (From trade manager) and then wrap that around the toploader. Then I tape the paper together. That serves the dual purpose of reminding the receiver of what trade the card comes from.

I don't mind what shape the shipping material is in when I get it, including the toploader, as long as the card is in good shape.

Since I started online, trading or selling, I have NEVER EVER used tape on a toploader. For one if the toploader is a bit bigger than the card its easy for the card to slip up and end up with some residue on it, i know this because it has happened to me in the past, the top of the card was stuck to the tape

Once the card is in the Penny sleeve/Top Loader I put it in a standard size white envelope and fold over the excess, THEN tape it. This solves both problems! No sticky tape and card is secure.

That's why I put the open end of the penny sleeve in the toploader first, so that the card doesn't slide out and get tape on it; only the penny sleeve.
