After reading the replies I at least feel a little better. Maybe they just stopped to give the horses on the stage coach a rest. lol

I had mail go to the states in less than a week, yours took 2 weeks+. That just goes to prove the mail system is weird. Although I must admit, that was pretty scary since it was my first trade here and I didn't know much about the mail system lol.

Canada Post's Ridiculous Service - Just me or you too?
Alright this a bit of rant, in fact probably first on this forum.
Isn't about anything on here, but definitely related to the hobby.
For the last month, I had a total of 4, yes 4 packages with guaranteed delivery (XpressPost) that was delivered late, processed late, or processed at the wrong postal location.
Package 1:
- Early December
- XpressPost (Guaranteed 2-day delivery)
- Sent before cut off time
- 2 days late
- Reason: Processed at the wrong location
Package 2 and 3:
- Sent last week: Tuesday, 13th and Wednesday, 19th
- XpressPost (Guaranteed 2-day delivery)
- Sent before cut off time
- Each delivered late. The Wednesday package was delivered on the 19th
- Reason: They don't have one!
Package 4: (MY MOST IMPORTANT PACKGE)
- Sent yesterday, 22nd
- PRIORITY NEXT AM (NEXT AM delivery or within that day): their highest service
- Updated delivery date: 28th (1 week from when it is shipped)
- Reason: Processed at the wrong location causing error
Is it just me or am I the one that is over-reacting, especially on the last one.
The last package is the one I mainly venting about. And for the individuals who know what is in the last package, they can see what I am talking about. It was going to an awesome before Xmas S&T.
I do understand it is the holiday season. That is fair for all regular mail and mail that offers no guarantee delivery time. However, 4 packages have been delayed with the highest and second highest service.
What was the point of getting these products if guarantee means: sorry bud "We apologize cause we messed up again... and again... and again... on guaranteed delivery service."
Especially with the Priority AM package, I got it for the sole reason that it will be at my door the next day and they guarantee it. And you basically tell me today that is delayed and for a week?! And that you processed it wrong. Aren't these the packages you should be looking at consistently and carefully cause this where your reputation lies and your customers value.
Yes, they will reimburse me, but it isn't about getting the money back. It isn't about what some of you will say "you got basically a free quicker delivery." To me and what it should be is the principle.
Obviously they should reimburse me, they had an incompetent service, but why offer me a service when they can't fulfill it. Not once, but 4 times and on their highest product.
People, like me, who purchase these quicker guaranteed deliveries because it is the essence of getting quickly. Speed and on-time is what I value. I got nothing like that today and for the last month!
Absolutely ridiculous!!!
Rant over...
Anyone with this experience as well?

Thanks Richard for putting in the correct forum... but I was trying to get at the Guaranteed Delivery Service, not the regular mail.
