need help, another real or fake thread
so these 3 boedker cup cards popped up TODAY. not many of his cup cards pop up in general very often. maybe a few a month at best, but all of the sudden 3 different sellers all with the maybe the best patches i've seen on his cards show up on the same day???? and all 3 have some noticeable smudges or marks near the patch window.
so are these real or fake?? and how is it that in one day they all pop up. something seems really fishy to me and i'm not saying they aren't all real, infact the 2nd and 3rd ones look to be more so than the first link. and they all have great feedback so it's just odd. here they are:

btw, if anyone thinks any of these are fake, can you please explain in detail how you came to that conclusion because while i do keep an eye out and have my doubts about cards sometimes, i can't quite tell what makes them fake. for example, how a person would even do it. ya know, do they cut out the patch in the card with a small knife then glue a new piece over top. i just don't get it and is that why maybe there are smudge marks near the window.
so yeah if you could help me understand more so i know more so what i should be looking out for. thanks

The 2nd scan belongs to someone that is very trusted on every board. I wouldnt have a second thought buying from breakawaycards.
The other 2 im not too sure of ..

ok thanks for that, the 2nd one is actually the one i like the most, and thought was the least likely to be fake.

The gold one (first one) sure looks rough around the patch outline. Haven't bothered to look at many others to see if that's common or not.

I have but one question. Why would somebody go through all that trouble to fake a card of a player of this calibre?
Professional Paper-Hangers don't bother with players that aren't even recognized as semi-stars yet, let alone the location he plays in.
Not trying to discredit Boedker, but Phoenix is the very last team where I'd choose a player to manufacture a fugazy of this nature. Perhaps producing fakes of players of his calibre they feel that they stay off the radar screen.
That would be the only reason I could come up with. after all he only has 60 points in 4 seasons, a AND he's from that Hockey hotbed of Denmark.
None of it fits for forgery.

I know the thrid seller, and he is a member here as well. the amount of Cup he opens leads me to beleive that the patch is ok. I think it is a rare coincence that they all appeared at the same time.

After a quick glance I'd say fake, real, fake.

center ice - yeah, no sarcasm or disrespect meant i'm sure.
and thanks guys, keep in mind, i wasn't calling anyone a thief or anything. the sellers could be on this site as well, i don't know that and i wasn't trying to start trouble. i merely found it really odd and coincidental that they all popped up in the same day.
and maybe a seller bought it or traded for it unknowingly, there are many factors that could go into a card being fake and the seller not knowing.
but again, not saying ANY are fake, just curious, that's all. thanks

They all look ok to me regardless of who is selling them.
Well what would you say then if i put these up on ebay all at once. I either pulled them or purchased them the first 2 weeks the Cup came out.
