joel - wow, well thanks for showing that. that's the kinda thing i needed to see. cause if i had seen 16/89, i'd wonder why the window and patch was messed up, but just goes to show the cards can come like that straight pulled.

THOSE are the best patches i've seen now.

i'm actually jealous, and i would like to ask since you have 6 OF THEM....that you wouldn't mind trading/selling one to me cause it would be an upgrade over the patch i currently have.

I only deal in facts. 60 points in 4 seasons puts him on par with some teams Goons. How is that disrespectful? Is he blessed with talent? absolutely. Has he shown that talent yet? Obviously not.

and thanks guys, keep in mind, i wasn't calling anyone a thief or anything. the sellers could be on this site as well, i don't know that and i wasn't trying to start trouble. i merely found it really odd and coincidental that they all popped up in the same day.

and maybe a seller bought it or traded for it unknowingly, there are many factors that could go into a card being fake and the seller not knowing.

but again, not saying ANY are fake, just curious, that's all. thanks

I double checked and i pulled #16 , #47 and i also have this boring 89/89 in my collection.So i have at least 7 of the gold rainbow Boedkers.

he hasn't shown it cause he's on the stupid coyotes. i could go more into detail but i think anyone can put the pieces together with why players don't make splashes there under that system but that's a whole topic in itself.

so just curious, can anyone tell me what to look out for when it comes to fakes. i thought the windows looked flawed, but if they aren't fake, i wouldn't be able to tell what is.

and btw centre, it was only a couple weeks ago that another boedker...his future watch auto patch was unanimously thought to be a fake on here. seller had it listed as "wolf eye", which it clearly wasn't, and that patch looked like it was kinda busting out of the window and the window looked dirty.

so with that said, boedker cards can be faked as well, not just the stamkos'.

Oh I don't doubt that there are Boedker fakes. But the people that are doing a pretty damn convincing job with the fakes, probably don't know the hobby as well as they know their own Paper Creativity.

As I mentioned earlier, they probably run the gamut of Fake Rookies, just to keep up real appearances.

I know the thrid seller, and he is a member here as well. the amount of Cup he opens leads me to beleive that the patch is ok. I think it is a rare coincence that they all appeared at the same time.

i bought a cup rookie card from his as well.

pretty sure the 2nd and 3rd are perfectly fine, but have a look at the 1st seller's (alaces) other items for sale. he has tons of cup for sale and looks like not one dull patch. literally every cup card he has up has an awesome patch. sorry but that puts up a red flag in my book.
