Glad to hear he's a good kid! I just dropped off a TTM request to him last week. Bummer to hear about him and the Astros; was hoping to see him get another call up!

Nothing in today but that's okay because I'm just pumped Hope Solo is not receiving a suspension to keep her out of the Olympics after testing positive for a banned substance. And to educate everyone, she didn't test positive for steroids, she tested positive for a diuretic in her PMS meds. So if she's taking PMS meds, I'm just gonna guess that she wasn't trying to get an edge, but rather dealing with something us women have to deal with. So all the men calling her a cheater are really pissing me off. Okay sorry for my rant

Yeah the USWNT's gold just flashed before their eyes hahaha and yeah it's all over the internet, especially Twitter. There are some cruel things being said about her. I hope she's busy packing for London tomorrow and not reading the tweets but since she likes to respond to haters she's gotta be reading them. I can't wait til she gets to shove the gold medal in everyone's faces haha can u tell I'm a pretty big Hope Solo fan!?

My TTM drought is finally over!! I've been sick the past couple days and haven't gotten anything in over a week so I haven't been overly eager to go out to the mailbox. Today, I was shocked to find 2 big envelopes waiting for me. Today brough Mariners' 2B Dustin Ackley and Colts' rookie TE Coby Fleener. Ackley played for the Class A team in my town so I always enjoy getting returns from him. I took a stab and sent 4 8x10s and about 6 custom tickets. I know that's a lot but didn't have enough stamps to send 2 different requests at the time. I told him to keep whatever custom tickets he liked. He kept 3 tickets and also kept my 2 good studio photos of him from this year. I'll definitely reprint those to get autographed!!


I have also been cleaning, repairing nail holes, and painting my room this week to fix it up before I move out in September. I opened a tin that, when I received it from my mom as a birthday gift as a kid it was full of baseball cards, to see what was inside. I found a baseball and a stack of baseball cards. I decided to see who was in it and to my amazement this is what I found!! I find it pretty ironic I pulled his card since I met him several times this past year at Gopher baseball games!
