The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Class A affiliate Milwaukee Brewers) were here in Clinton Saturday through this evening. I didn't go Saturday evening because it was my birthday so I went out to dinner with my parents. I went to Sunday's game, and even though I got there about 10 minutes after the gates opened, I was able to get everyone I needed. Today I was allowed to go to the stadium and watch batting practice a few hours before the gates opened. Since I'm a regular at the games, it wasn't a problem getting this access. I was allowed to keep any balls I got. I took full advantage of the opportunity and plan on going to BP for a few more games.
Walked away with 25 official Midwest League baseballs. By the end of the season all of these will be autographed!!

And now for the autographs. First off Wisconsin
Greg Hopkins: 6/6, 5/5 8x10s, 1/1 MWL ball
Greg Hopkins is the nicest player I have ever met. He took time to sign for everyone and he was such a sweet guy. He was down to earth and chatted with us while signing. Today I brought 3 photos I took of him yesterday and told him if he likes any he can keep them. He signed all 3 then picked 1 to keep. He was blown away by my offer to keep some and was extremely grateful. He also signed a Midwest League ball for me and inscribed 2012 MWL All-Star after I asked him too. Great guy!!

Today I gave my favorite player Dillon Hazlett a cd with all the pictures I have taken of him this season along with all the cards I have made him since he has always loved my cards and photos. He was extremely grateful and couldn't wait to print some for his mom. He loved the cards I had for today and asked for a copy before I gave him the cd and told him what was on it. I'd say that idea was a success :)

I ordered 8x10s of all of these pictures I have gotten with players and plan on getting them signed in a couple weeks when they're back home. Also ordered a lot more 8x10s of photos I have taken of different Lumberkings players so I can't wait to get them signed!!

Today brought the single greatest piece of mail I have ever received. Today I got 4 signed 8x10s from the most gorgeous man on this earth Mr. Channing Tatum :)


The funny thing is I sent 2 different mailings of 2 8x10s each in the last week of December because I thought 4 8x10s would be too many and I also didn't realized I had ordered that many until I opened my envelope of photos. He combined both and returned them all signed and personalized. 3 say "For Colleen All my Love!" and the other says "For Colleen All my best!" I ™™™™ing love these!!! These are the 4 best autographs I have in my collection and I doubt there will ever be a return that compares to this!!!

Thanks! Now that I know he still signs I'm going to start my project I came up with for him a while ago. I'm going to try to get him on photos from all of his movies. I'm still deciding whether to do photos of him from the movie or movie posters!

Friday and Saturday I received returns from Pat Neshek, Blake Swihart, and Matthew Davidson. All were returned in 8 days or less!

First off, who saw that awesome US Women's Soccer game today!?!?!? What an amazing game!! Can't wait to see them play Japan for the gold and this time I think they'll win!!

My all-time favorite athlete Hope Solo came up with some huge saves!! Don't let the hat trick by Christine Sinclair fool you. Those goals were nearly impossible for Hope to get!!

Ok so now on to my awesome return today. Today I received 2 signed and personalized tennis balls from tennis star Caroline Wozniacki. To be honest I sent this request out more for my brother because I mentioned to him back in May that she signs through the mail and my brother loves her and Maria Sharapova (what guy doesn't :) ). So I sent 2 balls out because as long as I'm sending for him might as well send to me. After a 3 month and 2 day wait, my brother was ecstatic giving me the bubble mailer to open saying they might be from her. Sure enough they were. Here they are. I'm hoping to buy a ball case for my brother to put it in before he leaves for his first year of college at Iowa State in a couple days.
