I have been buying into these lately too, better to pay and get the teams you want for a couple bucks rather than spending $60-80 for a case break and getting a bunch of random junk. I got the Flyers and Avs in a Certified break for ~$12 total and he pulled me a Talbot jersey /25 and a numbered Duchene /150 or something. The other night was the highlight though. I bought the Ducks and Devils for a grand total of $10.60 and he hit me a Back to the Future Platinum 1/1 dual auto of Parise and Niedermayer. Tonight hopefully I can get a sick Wings, Caps, or Canes hit!

i started with box breaks on ebay when ultimate was all the rage. my first break i bought two teams nj and washington just cause they were the cheaper of decent teams. hita jaob josefsson auto patch and a marcus johanson debut threads. not bad getting half a box of ultimate for around 12 i believe. now im more into case breaks, i seem to have better luck hitting case hits this way and even if i dont hit its nice to get to see some beautiful cards everytime

I don't trust breaks that are not broadcast live unless I know the person breaking the box or people I trust can vouch for the person.

WAAAAAAY too much room for digital sleight of hand with just a recording. Broadcasting the break live THEN posting the recording takes that off the table.

Maybe I'm just not trusting enough, but that's my $0.02.

no i completely agree the only way i do breaks now is via blogtv. before with ebay breaks there were ways to be sure theyre legit like lists of winners date time in the vid etc but if the breaker moves the pack outside of the lens everyone jumps all over them, trusted or not

I would like to get into case breaks on BlogTV or something like that again but I don't know who to do them through anymore. There's a couple fellas in Kitchener who go by C&C that are becoming notorious for not shipping my cards whom I will not buy from again, TheTruth17 on Blog occasionally does breaks but seems like kind of a d-bag, and the other guy I used to do lots of breaks on Blog from no longer does them due to a new career. If you know of anyone whom you've had good experience with besides the above listed, please let me know. Thanks

Exactly, it's all about trusting the seller. The guy I pulled the 1/1 from has been an honest, reliable, quick shipping seller. That's why I take the gamble for a couple bucks a week on a team or two from his breaks, better chances than buying some scratch lotto tickets and trying my hand at those!

yeah wogman i do breaks on boxrippers for the most part, have done a few breaks with stlsportscards as well but i find the across border shippeng is quite delayed. and i have hit 2 1/1s from single box breaks through my friend who runs the site in my signature, one being the trip tag in my avatar. and i have hit 2 1/1s through case breaks on boxrippers
