    Upper Deck at a company function?

    I have a redemption for a Sidney Crosby Auto /25 from the 2010-11 Ultimate Achievements set. It does not expire until 6/29/2013. I scratched the code and tried to register an account to enter my redemption on the website. When I click 'New user? Click here to register', I just get an error screen. So I can't redeem it online because I can't make an account. I called the 1-800-873-7332 number on the back of the redemption and I get a lady answering machine who says their business hours at Monday-Friday 8am-5pm PST but they are unavailable right now due to a "company function". How the heck am I suppose to get anywhere with this redemption!? I guess my next step is to email them and rant?

    try calling throughout the week, if u get no answer then start emailing

    I'm not going to try and guess what UD is up to..... but maybe there really is a company function today, and that's why they're not answering the phones?

    I would try back tomorrow (or later in the week) and see if you get some better luck. Also try back on the website - the signup should work, and (at least in theory) an problems there may be very brief.


    As for the email / rant - Obviously that's your perogative..... but if you send an email off with a negative / accusatory tone..... how badley do you think the person on the recieving end will want to help?

    Thanks I'll do that. From what I've read on other forums they have had that message on their answering service for weeks and their customer support is terrible. Yikes.

    I would Say try back later in the week... UD has changed over there servers thats why there lines were down last week, who knows maybe they are celebrating something worth while taking the day off for... I guess we all need a holiday now and then.

    They have been on company functions for months now. Other than calling after hours, this is the message that seems to come up when they aren't answering phones for whatever number of reasons. Just have to keep trying unfortunately. One of these weeks you'll get to speak to a live person!

    Most of the staff was in Ottawa this weekend for the All Star Game. Remember too that they're on the West Coast so you have to go by Pacific Time Zone hours.

    Try East Coast...Upper Deck facilities have been moved to North Carolina as of September 2011...or maybe October.
