Perhaps the first sign of an unhealthy business? Or are they just arrogant? What's with their other sport products, have they been on time, been like usual?

Now they're doing it again, Panini this time, pushing Crown Royale another week ahead. What drives me crazy is they announce that today, ONE day before release, I've sold some stuff in the week so I could buy it tomorrow and time it with my post pickup. It should be criminal doing this.

Both UD and Panini have new distribution policies in place that are targeted towards getting people to support their LCS.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Witch IMO is a great idea since upper deck and them stopped blowout cards from selling hockey so low my lcs witch I have supported the whole time is getting a lot more sales. Now hockey is his biggest thing and he will be moving into a bigger store soon with more singles and such. Everyone should support there LCS

I don't open much was in this era, however. LCS have to be willing to compete. It is a global marketplace.
If I were a customer that needed his cards for re-sale and could only get On-line purchases 2-3 weeks later than Hobby Stores, I would stop buying.
There are thousands of areas in the World where there are no Card Shops selling cards period, Hockey or otherwise. I happen to live in one.
If LCS are that sullen and worried, then get into another line of work.

Jesus. Ok that is good for the LCS I suppose, but for folks with no opportunity to visit a LCS it's devastating. For instance, disabled people, people far away from cities out in the country, or just international collectors (I happen to belong to all three groups mentioned).
It's mostly devastating if you want to get payback on your box, we all know the values on cards is 100% day 1 and can be 50% day 7.
Ps. Not to hack down on anyone, but I find it fascinating that I know my english grammar better than an American, ehum. ("witch")

^ you really need to grow up and stop complaing all the time. Not to hack down on anyone also, but I'm happy people from Sweden are not getting crown royale until 2/15 or even later.
