Help Getting Started
Hi Folks,
I'm a long-time trader on Beckett who is looking to get up and running on this site as I've heard some great things. I was wondering if I could solicit some advice from some of you regarding trading on this site. I've spent days (months) getting my org just perfect over there and now that I want to start expanding my horizons, how do I go about doing that? In other words, how do you go about showing your 4000 cards that are posted as Traders on the other site. I would only want to show the few hundred nicer cards but what if someone is looking for other stuff? I've got some scans in photobucket but some have been trade some have not etc. I just don't even know where to begin . . .
Thanks and hope to trade with many of you soon . . .
MC
PS Also, given my Beckett and Ebay handles are the same (Heaterhabs) and I have hundreds of + feedback, is there any way of getting around the "must send first" rule for the first 20 trades? Seems a bit excessive if you've already established a reputation. Thanks!Always Collecting Habs Memorabilia Cards. Favorite Players are Patrick Roy, Carey Price, Saku Koivu and PK Subban.

Some folks have everything in a Bucket as they don't have many cards, others have far too many for a Bucket and keep lists, but have higher end cards in a Bucket, and will provide scans when needed.
Some like myself don't have either due to thousands of traders. but will list cards as required, and scans as required.
There is no way of getting around the "Must Send First" unless you have Feedback transferred from another site and it approved to do so.

Perfect. Thanks for the advice on feedback transfer as I've submitted my request. Very helpful.

Good advice again. I will send scans as required. Is there a link here that shows who collects who? For example, if I've got a boatload of Luongo stuff, how do I find a Luongo collector to trade with? Thanks.

Welcome aboard! If you're ever up for any Habs trading please feel free to drop a line as I'm always looking to move items around and build up my Price PC.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I have some Price doubles so I will be contacting you. Do you do that via PM? I've seen some threads where guys are making trade offers for everyone to see . . .

Hey man!
This site is a little more laid back than Beckett in some ways. While there is a "beckett-org" style function on this site, it isn't necessary to use it for trading like on Beckett, and you see a lot more trade/sale offers out in the open here.
Welcome and happy trading!
