Spring Training Ideas?

ST last year was very disapointing! Although i did get big mac back, Rivera & Hamilton ( dec return) that was it from 25+ request. I missed out on Vlad, Trammel & Bubba Starling & there was countless returns from those guys ( w/ exception to Trammel )so im unsure who im sending to. I'll probably send about 12 request this year & see what happens. Try Vlad again & Damon. Hope for the best.

I plan on sending a few out to Big Papi, Big Mac, and some others once I find out where they sign. Still haven't heard about where Damon or Vlad will end up at. Also, wanted Mitch Talbot but apparently he's in Korea pitching now...weird. But will probably look through my items and get some young guys from Cleveland, Philly, and St. Louis. Finally, I sent some down for 50/50 and I hope to get those back too.

I just sealed up a bunch of Phillies that I'm gonna send out, but after going through the site (new here) I'm seeing they sorta suck TTM.. but we'll see.

That depends on who you look for. If they are of higher demand such as Ryan Howard or Chase Utley, yeah they will probably send back a pre-print or such (hope not in your case)

On the other hand, I mailed Wilson Valdez after he won a game from the mound, and it was awesome. Sometimes it works if you go after lesser known but still quality players. My goal for this ST is definitely Kyle Kendricks and maybe Ben Francisco.

Actually I'm sending out to the newest guys that I had some Reading and Lakewood cards for.. So maybe I'll get lucky..

I like going to MLB.com and doing a player search to see where they are as so many guys switch teams.

I'm gonna send to alot of Sox and Cubs, and some personal favorites like Johnny Damon and Aaron Rowand. Also some longshots like Big Mac and Ryan Braun (lol). Should be fun. I wouldn't fret tho man. You have the same shot if not better (then reg. season) of getting players to sign. So why not try.
