    All Stars Snubs

Just saw the reserves announced, suprised that Josh Smith and Monta Ellis did not make it. Thoughts on the selections?

    Rudy!

Happy for Deng though, glad to see the British representation.

I'm scratching my head over Hibbert and Nash making it while Rudy Gay and others didn't. Sorry to see Duncan and Garnett's All-Star selections come to an end. 2 of the best power forwards in the last 15 yrs.

I was suprised at the Hibbert selection aswell, i thought if anyone on that team it would've been Granger. I also don't think Dirk was playing at an All-Star level this season.

    Greg Monroe = snub.

Since he's listed as a Center and plays is (even though I believe he really is a PF), him not getting in over Hibbert is hilarious. Monroe is the #1 option for the Pistons so it's not like no teams pay attention to him.

The NBA is typical to do these things though.

Yeah, in Hibbert's case it was just awarding someone on the Pacers for their record. I do agree with you on Monroe, heck I would've chosen Lowry over Dirk this season. I also don't get how Paul Pierce made it and Josh Smith didn't.

I mean if it their stats were close i'd understand but almost every category Monroe is better in.

Dirk really suprised me because he hasn't been his normal self this year, Pierce was just odd to me also.

The NBA just wants as many 'stars' and guys from the best teams as possible, when it should be the best players.
