What is the best way to send cards to be signed TTM? Is sending them in penny sleeve & top loader the best or what is the best way?

I never send in penny sleeves or top holders. Just in an envelope along with an index card.

No Sleeve or toploader. i've seen posts of the signers signing the toploader and not the card.

I have never had a ball player sign the top loader. I send most of my ttms in a top loader and never had that problem.

I send just the cards in the envelope, not even the index card though I should because sometimes that comes back signed.

I send 3 cards and a letter along with the return envelope. Don't send any plastic protection I have seen those signed vs the item you actually wanted signed.

I sometimes put the card on the index using photo corner squares. Sometime I send them without any protection. I read you should make as easy as possible for the players to sign your cards so I don't bother with sleeves or toploaders.
Too much protections would also make it look more like you had a goal of selling them off afterwards.
