Had a pretty good weekend..
got a NES, Super Mario 1, 2 and 3 as well as Tetris : The Soviet Mind Game (which I was surprised to see sells for like $50-80...) all for $25... GB Color with Zelda DX, Pokemon Red and 5-6 other games all for $15, a nice near-mint technics turntable for $20 and a box of 50-60 LPs (Several Rolling Stones and rare French stuff like Serge Gainsbourg, Les Rita Mitsouko etc..) for $20.. these were all from the same garage sale I should make $350-400 with that $80 investment... also found a Gamecube (pokemon XD edition) with a controller but no wire for $5... found alot of good records at another sale too for less than a dollar each (Tangerine Dream, Pink Floyd, The Kinks, Small Faces etc....) oh and I forgot I found several super rare OOP dvds (Anchor Bay releases etc..) at a local thrift store.. already sold one for $40.. the rest is listed between $9 and $50.Last edited by polamalu43favre04; 06-02-2014 at 11:23 AM.

I had my sale on saturday and sold $979.00. I had a lofty goal of $850 and blew it out of the water. My highest priced item was $50 for a lawn mower so I was rather impressed to hit that number without a huge dollar item or two. Plus I didn't have a whole lot of bundlers either.
I was able to get out Sunday to some sales and Monday to the Goodwill Outlet. The major thing I got on Sunday was a SNES Final Fantasy III game cartridge for $1 and about 1000 mid 2000's Magic cards all sorted by card. I had no idea FF games sold for so much when I grabbed this one, but seems like I can get about $40 or so for it.
Hit the Goodwill Outlet last night and picked some very nice stuff. I got two original Nintendos, 1 PS1, and 1 Super Nintendo. All without cords or controllers and I haven't tested them to see if they work yet. The oddest things I got were 8 small boxes of brand breast milk storage bags. These things sell for around $10 a box. I also picked up a large box of little vintage ceramic christmas tree glass ornaments. Maybe 3000-4000 or so. They seem to sell very well, but I'm not sure how small the lots I'll break them down into. I've seen lots of 12-25 selling for $5-$6 a lot with free shipping and saw a lot of 1000 sell for $25 or so. I'll probably sell them in medium sized lots and sell them closer to christmas.
