    LCS Obsurduty

    I went into a LCS today to kill some time and maybe pick something up. And the only basketball they had of course was Hoops, which he was selling for $150 a box or 4$ a pack. I know it can be tough for the shops to compete with the online market, but that is just ridiculous!

    Wow! Thats insane! Within 2-3 weeks, Hoops will be around $40 a box.

    One guy near me charged $250 for a box of Topps Chrome Football, $10 a pack. He says that stuff is hot cause of the chance of a Cam Newton. I mean, $250 for a box that is crazy...

    I went into my lcs a few weeks ago to see if i could find a deal on a box of finest or topps chrome baseball. He had a 2011 tc marked at 90 and said I could pay 65. I thought these boxes were under 50 on line, so I decided to wait. Got home and found out they are 60-65 before shipping(unless i spent $150-200 or more). I blew all my gambling/card money that weekend and was sick for a week after.... Really felt like an idiot for not buying any boxes where at least I would have made some of my $400 back!

    Well my LCS does not carry basketball...they say that it does not sell on this area. Only football and baseball. But back in subject, they think that because they are the only LCS in the area, people are going to pay those crazy prices.

    Dude was charging 2.50 a pack for Hoops by me.

    I'd be embarrassed to post a $4 sticker for Hoops but $2.50 I'm OK with.
