Sounds like my local card shop, everything is overpriced, that's why most of my breaks are discounted retail.

That's definitely overpriced. Hoops will come down in the coming months, but at least my LCS is pricing them $2.50 a pack, not $4.

$150? Holy cow. If he ordered from a wholesaler the markup is about 2.5x what he paid.

Yeah I notice the same thing.

Dude was charging 2.50 a pack for Hoops by me.

That's a fair markup. You have to understand the cost they paid and the costs of it sitting on the shelf. It may only be valued at $1 to you and I but it isn't even close to what the shop paid for for 36 packs in a box.

Once a few more releases come out and people stop buying these just because there isn't anything else, the price will definitely be down.

I don't mind kicking my longtime LCS a few extra bucks for $2.50 a pack of Hoops. I want them to be open the next time I go, right? I'd rather pay a little extra to an LCS than some online website (and I've never bought a box of cards online, HA!). Proud to support my LCS

There won't be too many 11/12 releases.
