    50cc For A Banner...

Looking for a new banner...the Kuhn one is getting worn out. Want one for the upcoming baseball season, especially since I lost the baseball one I had made for me. Here's what I'm looking for:

    Jason Kipnis
    "We Are All Kipnises"
    Progressive Field

Incorporate those three things into it somehow, and you'll get my 50cc for a banner...even better if you can make the Kipnis picture from his first career hit!

Considering that there are a number of people that do them for free, I thought it was generous to offer anything.

I think what DPX was getting at is, sure we all have done some for free. But after awhile , to get nothing , or not even a few cards, does kinda suck. The first 10 or so are to get peeps to see, to promote even what the creator can accomplish. After that its just work, and it is time consuming. Try to make one yourself, and you will see. And then rate your creative ability to someone that has great banners, the guys that have vision, and can see the banner even before they open up their photo shop.
    .
Anyways 50cc is atleast an atempt ,and it is more then I have seen others offer. Seems the internet peeps are just used to getting stuff for free I guess.

I understand; I really wasn't sure how much to offer...when I had my current banner made, it cost me 75cc, which was all I had at the time and was take within a day...what do you guys consider a more fair "price" without spending money?

I'm sorry to hear that...if I'm not mistaken, a moderator made my current one, so it's fine. It's under the size limit (300x100), so that's why it's fine...I'm not really sure what to tell you, unfortunately.

If I had access to Photoshop, I'd make my own banner...unfortunately, I don't. I even tried making my own Kipnis one, and it turned out rather poorly without the proper programs.

Well I make banners. And like to get rc's for them. No big names, just ones ya have laying around collecting dust. But that does COST shipping. So maybe look into the wants of the guys that do banners. Strike up a trade like normal, you both getting cards you want. Then add to the trade a banner for an extra card or so. This way you pay for shipping anyways, add the extra, and get a banner.
    .
    Hope this helps ya!
