Preds get "Big Brother" syndrome when playing the Red Wings in crucial games. Now is the time for them to change that outcome forever.

this upcoming series is gonna be great - the Preds and our biggest , and i`d have to say , favorite rivals -- i`ll say this one goes at least 6 games minimum --

This series depends on two things. Pekka Rinne and the Wings offense. If the Wings start rolling like they were on offense, scoring 3-5 goals a game like they were earlier in the season, getting upwards of 40 shots, I can't see the Preds holding up. If Detroit continues to turn the puck over and have empty offensive possessions, it'll go the other way. Nashville hasn't played Detroit in the playoffs yet. Anyone who has can tell you Detroit is a completely different monster in the playoffs. It'll be interesting, and if Nashville can get past Detroit they have the goaltending and defense to make it deep!

Ummm...we have played twice in the playoffs. Went 6 games both in 2004 and 2008.

oops. I still hold with my belief that Detroit is a different team in the playoffs, getting Helm back in game 2 and Cleary back in game 1 is huge for the penalty kill. It'll be interesting to see where Nyquist falls in here as we've seen him playing well with all four lines.
