He won't get suspended and I fully expect him to have to fight for his actions.

My thoughts:
-Schenn definitely launched, but Asham's response was totally unnecessary. You can't cross-check somebody in the throat, then punch him in the back of the head as he lays on the ice. If I'm Shanahan, Asham is gone for the rest of the series.
-Where is Kris Letang's composure? He's out of his mind right now.
-Neal's play is suspension-worthy as well. His hit on Coutourier was dirty (somehow unpenalized), and his attack on Giroux was completely uncalled for. As a Pens fan, I've been through the agony of watching Crosby's career potentially get derailed by concussions. Giroux has had similar problems, and I know I'd be livid if someone on the Flyers did to Crosby what Neal did to Giroux. Yes, it's not like it was the most vicious thing that ever happened in hockey, but it's the intent that matters.
-Bylsma is getting thoroughly out-coached. If he would have pulled Fleury after that third goal yesterday, he could have changed the momentum of that game. He failed to do that. Neither he, Reirden or Granato seem to have an answer to the Flyers' system.
-Pens have given up 20 goals in 3 games. That's almost a touchdown a game. Shocking.

What a great series to watch. Man its been entertaining. My Caps are still in it and I get more excited about the next Pens/Flyers game (almost :)).
I don't hold any love for either of these teams but watching the Penguins crumble while listening to Milbury backpedal and attempt to defend actions he's previously judged non-Canadian players for is a joy to listen to.

I think the pens have decided that they care more about hurting Philly's chances at a cup than winning another one of their own, lol. What a bunch of classless lowlifes.
Congrats to all the faithful Pittsburgh fans, who by defending the gutless actions of their despicable team, are doing nothign but perpetuating the cycle by not holding their team accountable for it's dirty play.
Personally, I hope for Crosby's sake that Neal gets a couple of games suspension. If not Philly might just decide to prove a point. If I were playing for Philly, I would DEFINTELY sacrifice a couple of games to throw an IDENTICAL hit on Crosby just to prove a point.

Due To Rules Violations
A fan who is unbiased....
I think somewhere pigs are falling from the sky...
Seriously while both goalies have been shaky, I can't fault either 100%... Both the Flyers and Pens defense has looked sluggish at best during times of the games... As a Flyers fan, I think it would only be fair of the league to come down harder on Asham...Technically speaking he's a repeat offender, and to suspend him for the rest of the playoffs in this case might only be for 1 game if the Flyers sweep it... I say a hit like that easily gets 10 games... Broken down between the remainder of the playoffs and next years regular season.. As for Neal, the hits were dirty especially going after Giroux like that but I'd rather see him get the living crap kicked out of him and answer the bell, than having Brenda Shanahan protect him by giving him a suspension... Just my thoughts though... Bottom line the Pens should be better then this, its disappointing they are stooping to Bush League tactics because they are down in the series 3-0...

You should always love your team, but you don't have to defend everything they do. If you're wrong, you're wrong. Asham and Neal were wrong to do what they did, period. If you don't think so, you're delusional. You hit the nail on the head though, watching the Pens act like this is disappointing. This is not the perception that Pens fans should want non-Pens fans to have of their team. And it's unfortunately justified at this point.
It's a real crisis of leadership, and too many people are in denial about that at this point. Including Crosby, Bylsma and (possibly) Lemieux.
