Gold Rush Screwing!!!
Well I forgot all about that Gold Rush redemption where you send in hobby wrappers for the packs. I called Topps and they told me they ran out but sent everyone their packs that came in before the end of Feb, wich I did. So if I get anything, it wont be until July, which will be cards from series 2. So if I buy a Dirtload of series 2 hobby boxes, I will have a lot of series 2 Gold Rush but no series 1. So not much point in it I guess and it takes away the enthusiasm for buying series 2. Really dissapointed at Topps again. Anyone else get screwed like I did?

I misread what you wrote. I don't see why you would be mad at Topps. They gave a month for everyone to send the packs in.

I think he means he sent them in on time, but forgot about it. They haven't arrived so he checked on it. Now Topps is telling him they sent all the packs out and ran out which means he won't get any until July which will be series 2 wrapper redemption cards. I could be wrong...

That is correct. I sent them in before the deadline and realized over a month later that I never got them.

I wish people would stop defending Topps. They are a bunch of pecker-ends, who don't bat an eyelash at ripping us collectors off. Collectors who defend Topps are similar to people with Stockholm Syndrome, I swear!

Another case where Topps figured not many would send in the wrappers, therefore the supply did not meet the demand, but in Topps usual fashion instead of doing the right thing and making more of the series 1 product figured they could pull a fast one and just substitute series 2.Here's a clue Topps, better start making alot of redemption wrapper packs for your update series, because I doubt you have enough to honor series 1 and 2 wrappers let alone an update product.

I don't really like defending Topps since I've gotten the short end of the stick on a few occasions, but it was "while supplies last". In reallity they probably don't have to give anyone anything after they ran out. I do find it ironic how most don't want over produced cards, but when there's not enough there should have been more.

I could see your point if the wrappers weren't sent in a proper time frame,I was never a big fan of the while supplies last moniker,as a customer how are you even supposed to know how many were available.

I sent my out 2 days after I bought 6 boxes. I got nothing yet. Sounds like I got screwed to how can you not get anything 2 days after the product went live. Now I know why this is the first year I bought Topps in 5 years, not buying series 2 after hearing about this.
