Some PSA 8's would probably make a BCCG 10 lol

well if some psa 8's are bccg 10's then they could also be 7's bgs. haha. confusing but makes sense.
bottom line is, bgs is the way to go, they are the most strict with their grading.
i've sent in cards that i thought to the naked eye looked pristine 10's, and ended up getting an 8.5. of course other times, i thought i had an 8.5 and ended up getting a 9.5 so. i guess that's why i'm not a pro grader.

I like PSA for the vintage stuff.
BCCG Is ok to protect but I don't see it as a truly graded card.

My experience has been the opposite. I lost a lot of respect for BGS after the Strasburg Superfactor issue where they got a ton of heat after giving a 9.5 to a card that was off center and chipped. One of my best friends buys lower grade PSA cards to pop them out and send to BGS for better grades. BCCG has a "unique" scale. If you bought the card to keep, you did fine. If you bought it to make money, it may be tough.

You need to be careful of BCCG also. The grades are done at a glance in bulk quantity and Beckett website states that the card could get up to that grade if I'm not mistaken. One thing to look for though is that the card will slide in the case and actually damage the edges of the cards if bounced around too much. If that card isn't going to sit on a shelf and not get moved, try to get it graded for real or break it out of the case. Just my opinion. Good luck.
