i often wonder why so many penalties happen at crucial moments, it happens quite a lot, also on other teams (also seen yesterday at several WC games). is it lack of discipline or bad coaching and sometimes bad officiating (also to be seen at Worldchampionships alot ) , I dont know. but with all these erratic results I sometimes wonder why they need coaches in hockey anyway lol :-D NY got out of this with a lot of luck

Well thank you Mr.Ward you gave the Rangers a 4 minute powerplay with 22 seconds left, which led to the tying goal with 6.6 seconds left and the winning goal 1.35 into overtime.I can't say the Rangers didn't deserve to win anyway outshooting the Caps 36 to 18,but if not for a stupid penalty the Caps would've stole this one.Way to go Rangers,on a crash course for a conference finals against the Devils,at least that's what I'm hoping for.

Yeah I was just reading about how Ward was the "HERO" of the last series. I dont follow hockey very closely, but I love watching the CAPS play in person. I HATED hockey for ever, until I was forced to go to a Caps game in 2008 against the Panthers. LOVED it after that. This is such an exciting game to watch. I just hate seeing such a stupid penalty with SECONDS left in the game. It was clear he did that maliciously. ERRRR....

What's that line from The Dark Knight about being around long enough to see yourself become the villain?
Hopefully Capitals fans can show a bit more class towards Ward than the Bruins fans did.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I think that the Rangers are going to end up taking the victory and the series tonight. Should be another close one.

The Caps have more forwards with G.I. Joe Jungle Grip Hands than is imaginable.....
They have already hit 1 post, and a cross-bar, and missed two easy buries on wide-open chances in the low slot. Unreal how many opportunities this team gets and squanders.
Prepare for another 1 point lead going into the last minute with the Rags tying it up.
Caps needs to win a game by 2-3 goals. They only have themselves to blame for not being able to finish.
