    Thanks...I've got some good ideas in my head for customs to make on GIMP but I'm definitely struggling to figure the program out.


    Try checking youtube out for some basic tutorials. I've done that with photoshop in the past.

    Heck, a general Google search alone might work.

    Can't afford photoshop at this time since I'm going to a private college but hope to get it someday

    Way back when I was in school the book store used to sell a students edition of photoshop for $5 or $10. Maybe they still do that?

    My school definitely does not. They don't offer any education discounts for any programs, not even the Microsoft package. I have a sister that can get me the Adobe Suite with photoshop for $200 at Iowa State but that is still a good chunk of change
