Multiple redemptions.. your experience?
I have multiple redemptions for the 11-12 sp gu jeff skinner letter marks pending. I am wondering if anyone else has experience in this area and could answer my questions:
1. Should I expect to wait the full 16 weeks, or do they normally arrive sooner? I am guessing it depends on the athlete?
2. Do all of the cards arrive together?
3. Can I expect a unique letter for each redemption? Or, do they just stuff the envelope and if you get duplicates, you get duplicates?

I would be happy if it is only 16 weeks

Be prepared to wait longer than 16 weeks, depends on when the player gets the autos back to UD. As for different letters, don't hold your breathe. I have friend who was trying to put a last name of his PC player together. Sent in the redemptions and got multiple of the same letter back when they arrived. Not even close to the name.

I have heard of people calling in to ask for the full name (Should be common sense) and they had their account tagged and when they where shipped they got the full name

thanks hossa18sens - you gave me the idea to ask. this is the reply I got from upper deck:
"We do our best to send out different cards for this purpose, however it is based upon the inventory in stock."

yeah, aren't different cards in the name numbered differently? Like there are fewer "R's" produced than there are "S's"? I'm not totally sure about that, but I remember a story where a guy found the entire print run for one of these sets for a specific player (he had to return them to UD), and some letters were rarer than others.
The story was posted here too id anyone is interested too, the name of the member slips my mindPlease check my inventory before my photobucket!!! It's more up to date!!!

I have always assumed (perhaps incorrectly) that the scarcity of the letters was for the most part uniform. So for example, if the print run for the Skinner letter marks is 50, then I would think it would be just simple math (50/7):
'S' - 7 total prints, serial #d 1-7
'K' - 7 total prints #d 8-14
'I' - 7 total prints #d 15 - 21
'N' - 14 total prints #d 22 - 35
'E' - 7 total prints #d 36 - 42
'R' - 7 total prints #d 43 - 49
with the remainder 1 (50 mod 7) added somwhere above to make a print run of 8 (or 15 in the case of the letter 'N'). I have seen this pattern in other letter/team/number marks, but I have no idea if thats the standard.
