Beautiful 2nd Devils goal on the brain-faart by Del Zotto, Zajac gets an almost empty net ball hockey goal on the feed from Parise.

Okay the series is tied at 2 but there hasn't been an epic game yet.I'm going to say tonight changes that,I see a few fights a double overtime and a 3-2 Rangers win,I'm off tomorrow so overtime would be cool.

Who's Bob McCown? Is he a Pens fan, and only been watching since Hockey was invented when Crosby was drafted in 2005?

Rangers hardly play boring Hockey. They hit extremely hard, fore-check like demons, and admirably block shots. Having a comprehensive game and winning by only scoring once or twice is how Hockey was played for 75 years until the Edmonton Oilers came along.

The Devils and Red Wings put the train back on the tracks 7 times, and since then the American public and Gary Bettman have been trying to derail it.

Hockey is, was, and will always be about ......... Keeping the puck out of your own net.

Since you're American I can see how you wouldn't know who Bob McCown is but he has a sports talk show that airs on Sportsnet on TV and the Fan590 on the radio. Seems to think that hard hitting; tight checking; shot blocking; great goaltending; low scoring; hockey is boring. More than just him though. I have been hearing a lot of complaining about boring hockey when the score is 2-1, 1-0, 2-0, etc. That just isn't always the case. Sure I do like seeing goals being scored and the Philly vs Pittsburgh series was super exciting with the back and forth goal scoring but a high scoring game is hated by coaches as it means too many odd man rushes, turnovers, poor defense, and bad goaltending.
