helps that he only has 3 official RC's, but that SPA is selling higher than just about every RC Auto in that class. INSANE!

It's Halakamania, LA style. Same thing happened with Jaro's stuff in 2010 when he led the Habs to the conference finals. Gotta love the red-hot goalies in the playoffs!

Has anybody checked to see how Mike Smith is doing?

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Those Quick cards are going crazy! The SPA /999 is around $100 now vs late March at $30-40. Mid April in the $50-75 range. Now $75-100+ range.

Someone got a huge steal on April 1st with this BIN Quick SPA FW:
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/07-08-SP-AUT...item256f01d346

$7.77!!! Flip that now for over 10x that amount!

Mike Smith's rookies are doing well. The UD Premier Collection /399 is going between $35-50 up from 1 month ago when it was $10-25 and 2 months ago when it was $5.

The UD Rookie Update /999 is going around $20 up from $5-10.

That's very cool to see. I reckon that the guys in the East are well-established enough in the hobby that while there may be a bump it's not quite as noticeably dramatic. LOL

I cashed out on a couple of them when SPGU came out (financed another purchase very nicely).

Makes me think I should look to move the couple I still have left.

Don't get me started on the insanity that was Braden Holtby...as a collector I watched his Gold Cup rookie go from about $50 to almost $200. Fingers crossed that the madness dies and everyone forgets who he is for the summer so I can finish my PC of him haha

goalies are the scariest group to try and collect or predict their career. one strong playoff run or rookie season can catapult their cards to stardom, which is scary given the history of the net. while at the moment i would love to gobble up some quick/smith cards i know that necessarily doesn't carry weight over the next season. look at js jigure(i know its spelled wrong, thanks) or Steve mason. there was a lot of money to be made between the both of them. those that play the game know that goalies are a different breed. lol. and i don't necessarily mean that in a bad way
