Drawing the foul is part of the game. Usually when you point to a "flop" there was in fact a foul, but it was a slight one and the player wants to sell it and or make sure the ref sees it. I don't see it as a real problem in the league. The only time anybody complains about it is when the foul is called against their team, but when your team gets the free throws via the flop, all of a sudden it's a legit call, or at the very least you don't complain about it.

ghill33fan, "Be mad your team lives off of fouls to win games" . okc shot 36 free throws and the Spurs shot 35 and 12 of those were hack a splitter fouls. i never said you were a clipper fan. i said in my previous post that the Spurs dealt with their fair share of flopping from chris paulina. You talk crap cause your crappy team the suns are garbage. So enjoy the Spurs destruction of okc. and sit their and make up lame not factual excuses in your head like the Spurs get by with fouls to win, Tony parker's 34 didnt have anything to do with it. let me guess he fouled the ball into the net, btw he only took 2 free throws. your dumbest argumement yet is how im not a fan. pretty sure i wouldnt be on here talking about the Spurs if I wasnt.

It's the hairy elephant in the room. OKC's too popular to say anything.

Yeah but the problem is it affects the current game. For instance, Harden trying to draw the foul from Wade in the closing moments of Game 3. Had he succeeded, the results may have been different.

Retroactive anything doesn't work (see flagrants) and players may be encouraged and "reimbursed" if it means winning a big game.
