2005 boxes...
I'm kind of a new collector of football cards. New to collecting any cards for that matter. Big football fan though. I have roughly 250-300 dollars to spend. Was wondering what box(s) I should buy. Any information would be great. Thanks!

It depends what you want. Do you want to try to something real high end or just a bunch of lower end rookies.

I'd go with a 2005 Hobby box of Topps chrome. Not a real big chance for autos and GU'ed, but the rookies hold their value very well. Plus, the refractors are cool, and if you can get a low-numbered one of a top rookie, they sell at a premium.
You can usually pick up a box for around $55-$60 delivered. That's pretty decent for a higher-end product.

SP authentic is nice, but it's very expensive, and VERY hit-and-miss. They have so many no-name rookies in that set that it will make you pull your hair out. It isn't as bad as Reflections, but it's bad enough. You can get some very nice stuff in there, though.
If you're looking for very high-end, go with Leaf Limited. You should be able to pick up 6-7 mini-boxes for $300, and while you won't get quantity, you are practically guaranteed to get quality. That's what I'd get if I had an extra $300 laying around.

I was thinking of picking up some Leaf Limited for sure. I picked up 1 box the other day and found a Gale Sayers GU. While it isn't worth very much I thought having something of Gale Sayers was pretty sweet IMO. I was also thinking about Bowman's Best. Getting some Rookie sigs would be nice. Probably gonna go with Topps Chrome too. How about Upper Deck Graded? Any good in those. Sweet Spot too, how do those fair?
Thanks for all your guy's help!

Don't know about Upper Deck graded.
I ripped a lot of 2003 and 2004 Sweet Spot, and have gotten next to nothing. I have seen a lot of cool stuff get pulled out of those products, though. It's pretty hit and miss. Bowman's Best is allright, but I'd rather go with Topps Finest. They are similar, but I just like the look of the Finest cards better. They seem to retain their value better, too.
Good call on the Limited and the Chrome. Can't really go wrong with either product.
