2005 boxes...

Hey guys just an update. I bought some packs today more than anything. I went with 2005 Leaf Certified and got a GU of Eric Dickerson and in the other I pulled a dual jersey of Jake Plummer and Anquan Boldin both jerseys are from Arizona. Thought that was a little strange. Bought a two packs of Leaf Rookie and Stars and pulled a Triple Threads featuring LT, Drew Brees, and Antonio Gates numbered to 150. I went with a couple packs of Topps Pristine. Seen some pics and thought they were cool. Found only one autograph of Noah Herron. Pulled a Marvin Harrison GU numbered to 200. A Carnell Williams GU numbered to 1000. Also pulled a Carson Palmer GU from Topps Pristine numbered to 900. All of these are for sale on Ebay if you're intrested. I just bought 3 boxes of 2004 Upper Deck Legends($80 each). Hopefully Santa(the mailman)brings them here soon. I got itchy ripper fingers. Been awhile since I busted a few boxes.

I think I`m gonna wrap them up and put them under the tree. The wife has no clue I spent my Christmas money. :icon_lol: Maybe she`ll get the hint on what I really want for Christmas next year when she sees me disappear to rip them open. :)

I would probably pass out from all that excitement. :icon_lol: Good luck with that case. I hope I can pull a few good cards so I can make my cash back so I can do it again with another product.


btw, I just got a confirmation e-mail with my tracking #, so I should have them by this week. I think I`m gonna have to open at least 1 box.

hey rayny1 may the xmas mojo be with you ,i got my wife to order me three boxes for xmas also and i saved her 15 bucks with my coupons ,i ordered 1 box ud reflections 2005 bb 1 box donruss 2005 bb and 1 box of donruss dk all 3 came to 105 bucks plus she got free shipping ,the box breaks section should be a fun read dec.25th take care spuds

Try Pristine or Finest. I prefer leaf rookies and stars or SP Authentic, they are very popular and have good value. I'm not as big on Leaf Certified.

well, Santa actually arrived on Christmas Day. Strange. I didn`t think Santa(USPS)worked on Christmas Day? Anyway, my 3 boxes arrived and I had the most joyous time breaking them open. Didn`t get anything super but I did get a bonus of sorts. Gauranteed 3 auto`s per box but somehow I got 4 in one. :new_bdays

I wound up making 3 complete base sets out of 3 boxes plus 1 almost complete set and handful of other base cards. Here`s the breakdown on the other cards:

Thats it. No major "mojo", but I suppose the bonus auto card was a surprise. Total book value is around $350. I spent $255(s/h included).

I guess I`ll purchase a few more Legendary Sig cards on eBay and make a nice auto lot up and see if I can scrounge up a few bucks to get something else maybe. Damn cards are a bad addiction.
