    Is the term that you have described used when a substance has been introduced to assist the person in losing consciousness, then be taken advantage of?

    I don't understand the word "Date" prior to the "R" word. It's all horrendous, and does not need adjectives.

    to answer your question,no, a drug need not be involved for a date to escalate into something criminal...and in the case of a pro athlete, the crime could either be rape, or extortion, as is a false accusation to get a big $ out of court settlement...either way, odds are we will never know the truth...
    just a bad deal all the way around...:/

    Here are the big reasons why its going to be dismissed. And doughty has said they did have a one night stand.

    1: she says he forced her into a taxi and went to her house and raped her. She didnt freak out at the cab driver if she was being forced?

    2: the cops wanted her to call doughty and they listen to the phone call to see if he would talk about it. She wouldnt call him.

    3: When asked by cops what punishment she wanted against Doughty her response was..... get ready for this doozie. "I dont want him to win the stanley cup"

    4: cops have already stated she is not being helpful in the investigation and has character issues.

    5: she hired gloria allred to be here attorney!

    Just look at these facts and then tell me this isnt a scam for a payday.
