    RNH Flip

After my first semi Flip Fail: https://www.sportscardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1682367 I figured "you have to have money to make money" and I spent just about all my fantasy football winnings to "flip" to earn some hobby spending money.

Ironically I bought this in order to "flip" it to make a little bit of spending money to buy a much-lesser-but-still-significant Titanium RC for the PC. It was at $299 with 11 bids with a Reserve and with 45 seconds left so I said "what the heck, I'll see what happens if I put $305".

    Did I do okay here?

Hard to tell. Trade value maybe, but after the first one, the next one sold for $300 then you got yours. It'll be interesting to see though :)

dang....there's a whole boatload of them out on auction right now.

Maybe I should wait a little for put a $370 OBO on it when it comes in? If I can make 50 bucks that'll keep me happy for a while...maybe more maybe less depending on how they're ending up in the next couple weeks.

Sold via best offer for $300. You'll have to watch the other ones and wait for them to die down. Your best bet is to wait for them to go off the bay

It's a lot of money to invest into a card you're hoping to flip. I'd honestly say that you're better of waiting until there are less of them on eBay.

I was thinking of finding a gap between RNH's and inserting it there for $330 opening bid and seeing what happens?

Its hard to tell if you made the right move or not

Id say wait till the season starts, wait till he does something substantial and goes on a little roll ( remember the run the Oilers went on at the beginning of last year? ) ... and wait till these are less available. There arnt alot, and they are true rookies ..... but with Panini it might be a little gamble .... they dont have those sets like SPA / Cup / YGs that UD has that always draws certain collectors. Hopefully Titanium is one of those sets ( like Silhouettes ) that a player collector must have

I agree with canucksfan007. Wait until the NHL season starts and there is a buzz around the Oilers or wait til RNH has a big game or something. People will want his cards more then, than in the summer.

Thanks for the good advice guys. I think I'll list it high until then and see if I get any nice offers.
