He was saying to sum it up if you hate what a person stands for, believes in, and how they live their life he is pretty sure you'd hate that person whether you've met them or not. Saying you hate everyone you disagree with is a HUGE stretch. I think Mint Choclate Chip is the best ice cream, but you might disagree and feel vanilla is. Does that mean we hate each other? Big difference depending on what sort of disagreements we have.

It's basically saying, "If I'm a conservative and you're a liberal chances are I hate you."

He encompasses what is wrong with the republican mantra that Americans can spend their money better then the gov't. If that was so then why is this man president? If it had looked like the Republicans had a real shot last election, they wouldn't have left the mess they did for Obama. Instead they put up McCain and Palin and flushed.
