That's straight BS. I don't blame you for having negative opinions on them. The service in those instances were plain awful.

I've ordered a couple times, and everything's been fine. Then again, I live in the same state, you everything SHOULD be easy.

Honestly, I find Pittsburgh Sports Cards to have the best customer service.

I've done orders every 2-3 months for the past year or so, never any problem - but then again I'm in the U.S. - sounds like UPS really screws you guys over up there! Isn't there a Canadian dealer with competitive mail order pricing?

UPS is the absolute worst way to ship from the US to Canada. I avoid them like the plague when ordering anything from the US. USPS is the way to go even if it's a bit more as I never get any custom charges when shipping with them.

    +1

I refuse to accept UPS for the reason that custom charges maybe 12.00 and they charge a 25.00-30.00 service fee to the final charge

I hate UPS. That's a reason why D&A cardworld has been frustrating me. If they would communicate with me promptly, then I could keep my hate focused on UPS and D&A would be still gold in my eyes. But their replies are either slow or require multiple e-mails before you get one. Also the fact they contact me back in January to deal with it or even a day or two after I placed my recent order is inexcusable.
In Canada, I have dealt with Miraj and have been happy so far with them. Prices are competitive but they don't have as good as selection, especially in the older stock, 90s and early 2000s.
I also still can't understand that if I paid with credit card and D&A got the payment, why would even matter if the package got abandoned? D&A got paid.
    _______________

So I was able to in touch via phone with UPS and DA Cardworld. UPS was basically useless. I was able to get un-banned from DA Cardworld. DA Cardworld assumes that any customer who refuses (or supposedly refuses) a package from UPS, is also claiming a chargeback on their credit card. So they assume that DA is losing the abandoned package and will have to refund the customer's payment. In my situation, their assumption was 100% incorrect. I never claimed a chargeback on my credit card since I had received the product and was satisfied at the time. I guess they get a lot of chargebacks from refused parcels going through customs. You'd think they would give a 10 year customer of their business a bit more warning though when they decide to ban them. They did admit it was their mistake for not contacting me when the problem first occurred or when I placed my next order in July.

I'll still order from DA Cardworld, there selection is way better than anywhere else and prices are good. I will use the USPS service first. It's easier to pay customs at the post office when you pick up as opposed to dealing with UPS, even if it is a few bucks more. I will check Miraj or another Canadian first from now on though.

I think their customerservice is ten times better once you get a Premium membership, that's what I experienced anyway. But then I got to be VIP automatically first when I did a huge order. I also got Brad Lohr now, I find the guy before him to be tons better though, can't remember his name but Brad is somewhat ok. Quite arrogant and not very fast, plus he messed up one parcel for me big time in May. Haven't odered since then but I just put an order now so we'll see how that is handled. But, overall, I have to say it depends on what person you get. Overall in the big picture they've been good but you can have bad luck in the person who handles you, and yes, there are definirely better places for customerservice, the smaller place the better usually.

Also, whenever cards, packs or boxes have been damaged Dacard has shown absolutely no interest in taking responsibility. On the plus side, they're cheap right?

Well, congrats to that, to me he's been pretty arrogant. Perhaps it's personal chemistry. Now I remember the previous name, Jim, he held in my VIP account before, super super customer service from that guy!

Jim Hearn, him and Brad were in the old DA website singles dept. in 2007. I met him too, Jim is super easy going like Brad.

Same here he has helped me out a lot!

I have a Premium account with them as I order from them a lot. A Guy named Brian Benson handles the account. I had a problem & he fixed it via email with in minutes of me contacting him. He also answers his phone or gets back to me when I left him messages within a business day. I get items within 2 days of ordering and paying. Only problem I have had is with UPS themselves trying to double charge for Customs on orders from D & A but that is not there fault. UPS even triple charged me for Customs once I caught them & actually reported them to BBB as they told me it would take 31 business days to get a refund on the 2 overcharges. Got my money back really fast when I made the complaint.
