I don't really consider them cards and don't see the point to them, kind of cheapens the Cup to me as the video cards aren't quite up to Cup caliber (IMO).

It is more a "media" than a card.

Yes this UD product is definitely worth of inclusion in a $500 pack of cards.

These are fantastic. I really don't care about jerseys or patches but this is perfect because they show the history of a game/sport in video and isn't that the whole point of cards? They have stats on the back and info about the player, these just add to that.
My only hope is that with future (or current?) technology, they're able to make cheaper versions of these like with hologram cards and the technology lasts even if you use it 30 yrs later (maybe you need a new battery). Also it could help getting kids back into cards if they make cheap versions in the future though they'd probably have some new ipad to play with instead.

What a beautiful outdated piece of technology that only plays one highlight over and over and over again. Don't forget, it only costs you $200.
LOL...
Yeah, it's different, I give it that... but no. Stick to cards. Traditional piece of cardboard with actual memorabilia or autographs on it. If I want to see highlights, I'll go on Youtube.

^ And if I wanna see some stats then I'll go on wikipedia or hockeydb or a hockey pool magazine etc.....but I still buy hockey cards.
Who knows if YT will be around 20+ yrs from now or if those videos will be on there. I like the idea. I just think they need to make it look more like a normal card, make it smaller and simpler and eventually affordable.
