Calling E.Kane and J.Benn the two most overrated young players in the league is what is a joke. I'd love E.Kane in a Leafs uniform but he got too much money too soon. Kulemin had a season of 30 goals and 27 assists and then his production dropped off big time this past year. Not expecting Kane to drop off in production given that he'll get a bigger offensive role and more ice time but one good year does not make a career. If it is a sign and trade then the trade part will have to wait until the lockout is over. I highly doubt that Winnipeg would trade one of their franchise players though unless he really wants out and I don't understand why he wouldn't want to play in Winnipeg.

I agree about the too much $ to soon, anyway he is now signed for 6 years for 31 MILLION...Hopefully he is intrinsically motivated to be a superstar, otherwise...and no, the Jets would not want to trade him, its just if you lived here, before he signed, he was as cold as ice, not even giving a hint or comment that he enjoyed being here whats so ever, but now that the ink is dry, it is obvious he was under strict orders by his agent to not give away a single ounce of negotiating leverage. I believe he is represented by Bobby Orr's agency, and his players more often than not get really good deals. Guess old Bobby is more than just a legendary hockey player!

Calling Marchand a rat is ignorant, and I assume your a Canuck fan Wick, so I don't mean to lump you into a 100 or so idiots who rioted....but you got agree, would you not love to have Marchy on your team in the finals standing up for the Sedin's, instead of just having everyone stand around and do nothing! All the Canuck's needed to win the cup was a little sand paper or a so called "rat" to give the brother's some space to work their magic. Not to mention, the "rat" scored 19 points, including 11 goals, tying him with Roenick (another sand paper guy, or a rat if he isn't on your team) with second most playoff goals ever scored by a rookie. Only 3 points less than "Superstars" Henrik and 1 less than Daniel. Not too shabby for a "rat"!

I want Marchand in a Canucks uniform about as much as I want polio. I would cease to be a Canucks fan and only follow the Sens if Vancouver ever picked up Marchand. The last thing Vancouver needs is a chump going around trying to injure people. Don't get me wrong, he's a decent player, but so was Sean Avery.

I really couldn't care less what he did, he's shown himself to be a worthless punk. He doesn't even own it like Avery, he just pretends to be a good guy when we all (well, except blinded Bruins fans) know what he is. Avery with less of a mouth.
