I just checked out the Winterhawks schedule. The Eastern Conference Teams will not be coming this way this year. The Schedule is no longer fully Home at Home Interlocking, with 2 games each year, but alternating Road Trips. This year Portland goes East and only plays the Eastern Conf teams once...... Booo.

I'm getting tired of watching Everett, Tri-Cities, and Tacoma.

The logo, maybe. Although, it's not all that different from the Mohawk gas station logo. Warriors I don't think falls into that category (like Braves, Chiefs, etc). My local BCHL team is called the West Kelowna Warriors and they have a Roman type guy as their logo.

Was really disappointed to see that the Rockets lost last night. I had last checked my phone for the score and saw them up 2-0 early in the third. Next time I checked they had just given up the winner.

I was getting excited for the start of the WHL season as well but then I found out that Daryl Katz that owns the Edmonton Oilers also owns the Edmonton Oil Kings so I just don't feel right buying tickets that I know are going to an NHL owner. Found a AJHL Junior 'A' team about an hour down the highway that I think I'm going to focus my attention on for the year. Haven't fully decided yet probably will go to a few Oil Kings games but won't make a habit of it.
