    Ridiculous call in Duke game!

As a Duke hater, I am very angered. With 7.4 seconds left, I forget which BC player drove, and Sheldon Williams hacked the he!! out of him and no foul! You cant tell me refs didnt want Duke to win. 83-81, because of the boneheaded no call. Could have tied, and then gone ahead if ball was returned. How ridiculous.

Didn't see it but it wouldn't surprise me. Refs don't like to make calls at the end of a game.

That's refs are with Duke. As a NC State fan, I've watched TOO MANY games where the opposing team will look at JJ Reddick and it's a technical. Shelden Williams will go and beat the hell out of somebody... no foul. It's amazing how refs love Duke.

    End of rant :).

I agree with you. I dont care for college ball much, but Ive always hated Duke. They kind of remind me of the college team who had Webber and Rose, and got fined for paying them to come. The calls not made against them just isnt fair. Money must be involved. Hehe. Keep in mind these are only incinuations, Id doubt they pay for players to come there, or pay the refs. But who knows these days, huh?

first off Michigan did not give money to webber... the boosters and alumni gave them money and gifts which was still illegal but.... anywho

i didnt see the game but honestly i have seen too many games end in no calls simply because the refs dont want to be responsible for the ending... they dont want to be the ref who calls a game changing call then watch the tape and see a flop. Again i didnt see the call but you have to put yourself in the same situation they are in... reffing is harder than it looks

Referring is really a difficult job. Every potential game tying shot as the end of games now, guys act like they got killed. I think it was a good arguement for this game, but if every time a guy seemingly got fouled on last second shots there was a foul called, it would do a lot worse to the outcome of games. Its late and im trying to not wakeup my gf typing this, but I think I atleast 50% got what I meant across

The guy that drove was Tyrese Rice, a freshman.

Im a BC fan and I think a foul should have been called
