I've fallen behind on a couple successes with my investment into graphing the NBA and work. Either way I'll try and get a few picks up this weekend of all that has come in, oddly enough lots of Reds. A couple nice surprises plus a few trades.

Added signed cards of: Kurt Stillwell, Eric Davis, Dave Parker, Mario Soto, Craig McMurtry, Sammy Khalifa, Ron Karkovice and if I missed one I will add it.

I'm hoping to get to Texas Rangers fan fest for a shot at Greg Maddox, Andy Hawkins, Nolan Ryan plus add Geovany Soto to my Cubs ROY baseball collection. Any luck I'll get Darvish for my 2012 AG set.

Will also likely attend the Royals Fan Fest this year if I can track down season ticket holder tickets to attend. Will shoot for the always tough George Brett and need 2-3 guys for my 2012 Allen Ginter set.

This may be my last post till after the holidays with as busy as I have been but I really enjoy watching all the successes and comments. And as always if you have anything signed I'm always looking to trade for 87 Topps.

Sweet Xmas return from Joe Carter, wrote a good letter about having same teachers and looking up to him being from Oklahoma. Put it in an Xmas card with a donation to his charity and he sent the card back signed. Very happy to get it back and from a World Series hero from my home town!

Here is the pic of this bad boy, I love this one! Not to mention he was a 1st round pick of the Chicago Cubs!!!

Thanks, Lots of love for the Cubs former 1st Round pick and hometown hero, Joe Carter. I knew another Cubs fan would really like this one.

Thanks it's a favorite of mine.

Added Tom Lasorda but I'll have to check to see if it's legit and if it is that's a huge success!

How did I miss catching those great Reds successes that you added to the project? How close are you getting to that 1987 Topps set anyways?

Those Reds were done at Fantasy Camp as I had to consign them. I figured I was paying fees for Davis and Parker either way so might as well knock out 3 at once and the fee was less than both guys signing fees.

The set has slowed to a snails pace. I have added Cocanower, Jeff Russell via TTM but I'm at the point were I'm sending money to guys to get them to sign so I send 1-2 letters per month now. I have stayed away from ebay because of fakes so this has been tougher because I wait for signings or events for a few of the guys.

On a side note I finally got back my Eddie Milner card and he is in a Reds uniform.
