If you guys are bothered by a frog after we cut open the frog we had to dissect a pig fetus for our final. I'm guessing that wouldn't have gone over too well with this crowd.....

If someone is some type of science major then yes it would be neccessary to disect a frog. I'm just now sure what benefit a history or accounting major would get from killing and mutilating a frog.

I am an animal lover and will fight for the rights of my dogs and cats and other animals

But PETA is one of the worst organizations there can be...why do I say that...In Recent years it was uncovered that that bought larger freezers to curb the unwanted pet population in NYC...and well i like my leather coats!

Actually it dosen't. It goes back to people people picking and chosing what's convient for them to follow and ignoring the rest. When it says thou shall not kill that is it. It never says thou shall not kill humans.

What would humans eat if we did not kill?

I don't think that the bible really encourages meat consumption. See Genesis 1:29-31.

True, but it quite obviously allows it, or the law would be "no meat" not "no shellfish, pigs, etc, etc".

There are more than enough fruits and vegetables to sustain the entire human population.

Is there? Seems to me there are people starving all over the world as we type. Are you considering the added consumption of every individual when you eliminate all the animal products?

Seems to me there more than enough food in the world. Certain areas tend to hoard it, though.

It takes 7 pounds of grain to produce 1 pound of meat. Eliminate the production of meat and mass producing animals on factor farms and there will be more than enough for everyone to eat.

    Fixed it for you.

Ever notice how the areas that don't have "enough food" have birth rates of like 7 kids per woman? Pregnant women need more food than non pregnant women. They would have a surplus of food if they had any birth control in these countries.

Ever notice how the areas that have enough food are full of grossly obese people?

Yeah, my post was right the first time. Don't break my posts.
