I think Nate won by the rules, but the rules sucked
"There is no penalty assesed for missed attempts" Just change the wording into "missed dunks do not count as an attempt, but are considered in the scoring" and then AI would have won it. Under the rules, Nate won. His dunks were better if attempts are completely not reflected in the scoring at all, because that is what the rules state. Smith got robbed. 2 hand from the foul line was more then a 41 considering some other first dunk scores.

I was more impressed by Nate's dunk, but I only caught the replay video on nba.com. I think if I had to watch him try something that many times I'd feel different.
Also, 2 hands from the free throw line? How the hell did that not make the highlights? :|

It was funny because before he did the two handed dunk from the free-throw line (His foot was on the line) he placed a large piece of tape lik 3-4 feet behind the line and it looked like he was going to dunk from there, I still do not know what that was for, lol.

Smith's dunk wasnt from the free throw line anyway, his heel was touching the line... he was over by quite a bit.
The tape still confuses me too.

BTW I think they should change the attempt limit to 4-6 next year

The rules did say missed dunks do not penalize the dunker but all the attempts by Nate did take away from the dunk if you ask me. Either way both of them had some sick dunks. Iguodala should have saved the behind the backboard dunk for the final round.

the only good dunk Nate had was the Spud Webb one that was sick, but (after around 12 or so trys) when he put it threw his legs and dunked it and got 9's I was like WFT?! if Iggy did that the judges would give him 6's, I know it's hard because he is so small but still thats BS, Iggy should have won that thing hands down.

andres behind the back wasn't that great most good dunkers can do that one no problem. most dunkers CAN NOT try double between the legs 15 times and still jump 5 feet to dunk the ball that was sick and nate kicked his ™™™ hands down

who cares if he can do it on his first try? he's not doing it 15 times and still jumping 5 feet which is what nate did. if anybody cared about tall dunkers then amare would have won last year b/c josh smiths dunks sucked. if your short, you get points for jumping, so to bad for andre.
