    Stamp Questions?

    How many stamps do I need to use if I am mailing:

    1. 2 cards in toploaders and a bubble mailer to Wisconsin

    2. 2 cards (1 in toploader 1 in screwdown) in a bubble mailer to Sacramento

    3. 2 cards in toploaders and a bubble mailer to Michigan

    The best thing is take them to the post office. If you just put stamps on them, you're probably gonan spend to much. 1 & 3 will be in the 2 ounce class which is $0.63. The screw down is hard to say since there are different ones and they may weigh different.

    Bubble mailers have a surcharge for the size of the envelope as well.

    Bubble envelopes only have a surcharge if the emvelope is 1 ounce or less. Once they get to the 2 ounce + range, the price is the same. A bubble envelope 1 ounce or less is $0.52, which includes a $0.13 surcharge. 2 ounces is $0.63, 3 ounces is $0.87. You just add $0.24 for each additional ounce up to 13 ounces then you're looking at priority rates.
