I wouldn't be shy on saying his name. As a collector and frequent member of box breaks I highly recommend to Stick with the established eBay breakers...breakaway, ksehd, revolution10, rydlar99, capercards. Those are the ones I have had positive experiences with, I'm sure there are more, however their are a few bad apples out there too. if they don't time stamp in the video or give a serial number in the listing, then stay away. Do a little research first and watch his previous breaks, also look at past winning bids to see if the same guy is winning the auctions that hit. A member here (kadri I believe it was) mentioned a bad breaker before and within 24 hours the eBay seller had pulled all his breaks down off eBay and deleted his YouTube videos, when I messaged him he immediately offered a refund... I never even bought a spot. Lol. Point is, by kadri posting here, it shut that guy down and saved many people from being scammed, you could potentially be doing the same. If I were in your situation I would leave a comment in the feedback to warn others of an unprofessional breaker, who don't link the auction to the video by providing the serial number in both the video and on the auction page. As far as winners getting the cards and them being the ones that matter, he has to realize that the winners of the auctions that don't hit are what pays for the break too.

My thoughts exactly, if it weren't for us 'losers' he would lose a ton of money.

Sometimes I get caught up wanting to bust a certain team rather than go out and buy a box. It's more for the fun and thrill, but a little bit cheaper. I hadn't noticed until the next day that there was no serial number in the listing. If he bought a case and has posted 4 box breaks over 2 weeks then he still has 4 boxes left and could have easily switched out the good boxes.

his username is dannystars9 and I have left him feedback after his reply to my message.

I keep telling myself I'm not going to do any more box breaks cause I never hit anything! But that's like saying youre not going to the LCS this week to buy another box :P

As a breaker (thanks aspencer for the kind words above), I'm not going to get into it too much as I don't want to come across the wrong way. Just know that like any business there's guys who are in it for a quick buck & others that are trying to do things right for the long haul & have fun doing this.

I've made mistakes before in my breaks, ie. posted the wrong serial # on eBay - I relist past auctions and do a find & replace in eBay's selling manager.. but do it for 25-40 boxes/week... 750-1200 listings - sometimes you forget. Most people are pretty good about it if they trust you and you state that you made a mistake BEFORE opening the box or circulating the link.

But ya, then there's some who don't post serials, and their shirt color magically changes mid-video (no joke)... so please, be careful out there. I know I don't like to see guys getting taken advantage of.

Anyone ever get an "Error Code 70002" when trying to pay on eBay ?? (No, this is not my paypal saying "not enough money", lol..... I can't get to the payment screen. I click 'Pay Now' and then there is an error).

I have had that happen before, or at least something similar, I forget what it actually said. I gave it a few hours and it worked so I'm not sure what was actually going on. It has happened a few times over the past 3-4 years. Just gotta be patient I guess... or get more money on PayPal :P lol

Resolved, but it didn't just go away.

Was a case of really bad timing last night....

I saw that I have won 5 items from the same seller. Using a tablet, I went to hit the "Request Total From Seller" on one of the items, but I hit "Mark As Paid" instead. When I reloaded the page, the seller had actually sent the invoice to me.

I was unable to unmark the item as paid, but the payment link appeared to be the correct total, so I wasn't too worried about it.

I had to eBay customer serivce (they are pretty quick to deal with) to update my account, and unmark the item as paid. Then the whole thing worked.

So I guess it's a bug in their site.

If it makes you feel any better, I've had this happen to me a LOT lately. Like 2-3x/night I've noticed people taking part in my breaks marking them as 'paid' but not actually having sent payment. Must be something going on with eBay. This has been the last 2 weeks give or take.

I had this happen recently and went thru the buyers feedback, messaging the last ten buyer he bought from to see if everything was as good as the feedback indicated, as he pays immediately and lots of sellers left him feedback(myself included) before he could run his scam. turns out he had filed claims on 6/10 without contacting them first, all 6 from Canada, and all six over $20 each, they all gave him a refund without pushing it. when I contacted the buyer, the first thing he said to me was that he has cancer. That immediately put up a red flag, as I felt he didn't have to say that, made me feel he was looking for pity so I would refund him without questioning it. After I heard back from the sellers, I began to question him even more and within two hours he had closed the case against me and another seller I was in contact with. Even then, he still asked me to refund him and said he would send me a different card back. Lol. I couldn't believe it. Anyways, long story short, I messaged eBay and gave them the info I had obtained, with all the item numbers and sellers comments, I also forwarded the info to other sellers he had ripped off and I know one of them for sure got their money back, but haven't been in contact with others. So, I'd recommend looking at their recent feedback and messaging the sellers, asking if the buyer said he didn't receive his item from them as well, and if you find this guy is a repeat offender, call him out on it. A lot of scammers have been getting away with it because sellers are too quick to refunds, so I would also let it go as far as possible, wait for the three days so the case goes to an eBay representative and ask them to view the buyers history to see how often they are opening cases. Anyways, best of luck and I hope this message helps.
