Well i ship from Quebec to the USA all the time and i can tell you thats pretty much how much it cost.

Balderdash. I have received over 30 bubble envelops from Canada since October, and not one of them was over $2.40. Bubble envelopes are not hard to find. I re-use every bubble envelope I can get my hands on, I am very resourceful, i have many business friends collect used ones for me and I cut them up, no matter what size. If you are buying bubble envelopes at full retail, then you are not being resourceful.

Anybody on eBay that has $4.90 shipping on their auction or BIN is ignored by me.

You are right they sometimes try to charge for the light packet, when ever that happens i tell them it is a hockey card made of cardboard in a plastic protector. This is also what i write on the Customs Form if they ask me to fill it out. ("SPORTS CARD (paper) IN A PLASTIC PROTECTOR"). Having said that, sometimes when you go into the convenience stores with the CP offices they argue with me about the proper rate, so a couple of times over the years i just paid the Light Packet rate, not worth the hassle. I go to a real CP office/depot 95% of the time to avoid this.

imo you are gettting ripped off.

You should buy a whole bunch of stamps in advance and then drop your envelopes and in the mail box instead of waiting in line at CP. No arguing about the Light Packet rate, and you save time.

Newest JOKER on ebay, block him now! bobbydd88

    won this card via auction,

When he received the card, claimed the white patch was missing, nothing there but cardboard. I guess it mysteriously exited the penny sleeve, toploader and bubble padded envelope on it's route from Winnipeg to Quebec, classic.

I ranted about this clown a few weeks back. He was probably banned from this site too. His user name on Beckett was rookieaholic. Anyways, he purchased an item of mine and didn't pay. Responded to messages immediately when the auction ended but when I called him out with some language and content I cannot post here, explaining I know what he does and who he is I haven't heard back..

I have been looking at his recent feedback. Other members are getting a bit of a ride as well but the feedback they have left is being remove by eBay because while it is a positive feedback rating the comments are all negative explaining how he has had best offers accepted but hasn't paid. Anyways, I don't understand why eBay doesn't allow us to leave negative feedback in these situations. It's absolutely ridiculous that his rating is still 100% positive. I reported him to eBay already. I actually phoned and spoke with a few representatives. I really feel like their feedback system needs to change!

Well it seems like he cancels bids and ends auctions if he isn't happy with the overall sale price so as long as you paid a reasonable price and he doesn't cancel your bid there isn't a whole lot he could do to screw you around. I'd take a look at the bids to see if it was shilled. Worst case scenario he doesn't ship you anything, which I believe was one of the negative comments that was left, and you just get your money back through paypal. I personally would never do business with him and would highly recommend everyone avoiding him.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought ebay made scheduled listings free now. I keep getting charged 10 cents per listing. Can anyone offer some insight, before I call them and wait on hold forever. Thanks

How do you get .10 cent listings?

Every time there isn't a promotion, they are wanting to charge me .30 cents.
