I declare $300.00 cards as $5.00 cards, when I have to declare nothing has happened in 15 years. Most times I never declare.

That's the smart thing to do. You get it, but some sellers are wary of declaring a too-low value. Maybe because they want to insure it, or they think we're pulling a fast one.

I hate when they ask me what is inside, to write down what is inside and to declare a $ amount.

I refuse to write down a card being worth $200 or whatever or write down that there are precious metals in the package. It's ridiculous. As long as it's not a bomb or anthrax who really cares what's inside?

After 4 years of dealing with the same post office none of them ask me anymore. One of the ladies has never hassled me. One of them just stopped after helping her out with the identification of a silver whistle her father used during the war.

They always assume now that there are documents inside and hold no value. If I want insurance, tracking or signature confirmation on anything I will ask for that shipping method. When I declare I use general terms like Trading Cards, Collectibles, Paraphenalia, Commercial Samples etc

Just a quick vent. I really can't stand buyers who have absolutely no patience. This particular card was sent out on the 3rd business day after they paid, is scheduled to arrive today, 7 actual days later, and a claim was opened against me. They didn't even contact me first asking for an update. I typically wait at least 2 weeks in the states before I even ask the seller what's going on. Coming from Canada I'll wait up to a month. Now I've got a $50 hold on my account because this dude clearly has no touch on reality.

Rant over, thanks for letting me vent!

Ive been ebaying a long time but have never seen this one! I bid on an item the other day. Max bid was $6.00. It just ended, and I got the email showing what it ended for, $1.95, and it also showed that my max bid was $6.00! How is this possible?

Does it just show you what your max bid was or does it show the public?

That's bizarre. It seems to show up as if it was a BIN auction.

That is what this site is for….

Include that person's eBay ID here, so that we can block them. I don't want somebody from Home in Canada saying they didn't get their card on day 7. No Thanks….

May sound harsh, but generally speaking, people are idiots. Present company excepted, of course :P
