We've been seeing a lot of issues with people artificially raising the pricing on PS cards in the past so it looks like they are going for more in the completed auctions section. We've had several PS up for sale in which the winning bidder didn't pay. You all would be amazed at the level of scamming and fraud we come across.

He's at the U.S. national every year and they are amazing cards. If I remember correctly he's a pretty cool guy too, although he seemed to be there to show off more than sell anything.

Well I have an odd one here ...
I received a package from Sweden. I recognized the package because it still had the printing label that I printed from Canada Post through eBay/PayPal. I thought a package was coming back to me, so I opened it. Inside was some Need for Speed game for the PlayStation 4. I don't own a PlayStation 4.
So I was intrigued. I looked over the envelope. The Swedish address has marker on it, leaving only my return address. There was another (I assume return address) on the back and I thought maybe they were trying to re-use the shipping label.
I have no idea! I cross referenced with the Swedes I sold to at the time and found nothing. This happened about 2 months ago, so it's not like someone stole the package and tried to by-pass shipping prices retur... okay I got nothing. I have no idea what to think about this whole ordeal. I kept the envelope hoping to some day crack this case and I just came across it today and I started thinking about it again.
Even took the packaging into Canada Post, they have no idea where it came from either.
Just plain weird. No one on eBay or here have told me their package was lost. No one I know in Sweden knows anything about it. Just an over-all strange experience.
Anyone have a similar story?
I once opened a package to find a kids' disney movie. Figured it was sent to the wrong person which I've seen happen many times over the years. I opened the second one to find a similar kid's movie. THEN I looked at the address. 116 instead of my 70. Same street. So I delivered them, cause... think of the children! Had a talk with the lady and it was a WalMart or Amazon mix up... but that experience still doesn't explain a THING about this PS4 game I now own lolMaster List: Hidden Content

Ebay fridge magnets
Anybody else mildly annoyed by the quick rise in the amount of people selling fridge magnets on eBay? It's very misleading as most sellers post them in the cards section and are obviously looking to capitalize on people who at first glance think it's the actual card. I know I have mistakenly bid, thinking I was about to get a deal on a nice auto patch. Just the other night a McDavid Canada Au patch /125 sold for $300, nowhere in the title did it say magnet, eBay item number 361302018898 (thanks Chris for pointing it out) just a small mention of it in description. Luckily he accepts returns as I'm sure it will be returned. Seems like a con if you ask me. These guys know what they are doing. I've taken the time to report it to eBay as both misleading sales tactics and potential copyright infringement. Also messaged UD asking if they are in the fridge magnet game now, and to see if these sellers have rights to use the UD logo and replicate the cards as magnets. It's not so much the sellers that have the buy it now at 2.99, with the words fridge magnet bold in the title, it's the guy who barely mentions it in the details and has it on auction knowing what's about to happen. Also using words like patch and auto in the title, which the magnets are not. To me it's just another way the con artist are disrespecting the hobby. Sell your magnets in a different category, and reference it in the title. I'm hopeful they disappear altogether, but that's just my opinion.

I did not know these people were making magnets of GU cards now. I usually just run across the OPC Gretzky rookie magnets and the like.

It's the worst! I wish you could block sellers the same way you can block buyers.. Between that and "box breaks", my feed would go for 100,000 new listings a day to like 12 LOL

It is even more annoying because they aren't sports cards, but are categorized as such.
