Call eBay. They should remove the negative as he didn't pay for the item. I have done that several times. If the first person you speak to doesn't help ask for a supervisor.

Did you type the user name correctly? I checked the feedback they have left for others and they haven't left any negatives

I reported it immediately and it has been removed, seeing as the buyer never paid. Still recommend blocking the guy though.

Last week I was winning an auction for $0.99 when someone else outbid me within the last 20 minutes(I was at work). I noticed that immediately it went up for sale again by the same seller. I noticed that the buyer had 0 feedback and decided that the seller must have decided not to sell to people with 0 feedback.

I bid again on the auction, and was once again outbid within the last hour ....BY THE SAME BIDDER.

I checked and the bidder has bid on 8 items, a total of 13 bids, 100% activity with this same seller(and 2 retracted bids).

Definitely a Shill.

Overall, in well over a decade of ebay'ing, I've had well over 99.9% positive experiences, but finally ran my first rant-worthy experience...

So I won a Gretzky Masterpeices auto for what felt like a pretty sweet price - $150 ain't exactly in "steal", but definitely a nice deal on a Great One auto... but of course the very next day I get the following message from seller bryso.pau...

"I am very sorry, my house was broken into and most of my collection was stolen... Including the Gretzky autograph. I m very sorry about that. You re gonna have to file a not shipped report and EBay/ PayPal will repay your money. Again I am do sorry , and if I need to do anything for you to get reimbursed, let me know. Have a good 4th of July."

Mmm, yah, I've got a feeling it went a bit more like "Darn, I didn't get as much as I was hoping for my #99, let's see what lame excuse I can make up".

The cards were shipped yesterday To USA. They paid for regular shipping, $3.99. Have asked for a tracking number twice and are now asking why the cards aren't there yet. I smell a claim coming from this idiot.

As far as it seems you are his first Canadian purchase. All the other feedback he has are from USA sellers. We could surmise he thinks paying $3.99 for shipping would include air if he assumes that as well DC included with lightning fast delivery. Also he hasn't left feedback for the three that are over 6 months old, so it shows he doesn't really know how feedback works. Obviously an ebay novice here. Here's hoping he learns how this works before he does something unnecessary. I'd hate to be in your position of training an aloof buyer.

Opinions needed from the fine SCF community.
I offered on a card, the offer was accepted. I paid for the card and $9us for shipping. Package comes with $1.80 Canadian stamp in a bubble mailer. The same way I ship cards that I charge $2.99us for. So I got hosed on shipping.
Here is where it gets interesting. I way over paid for the card. Similar copies are selling for under $20. I paid $60 plus $9 shipping. Not really complaining that I over paid for the card but the seller sent me the wrong card! Totally understand that this can happen as I have also mailed the wrong card out to people. So I need to know what you would do in this situation. Ask for a refund and buy another copy for a lot cheaper? Or hope that the seller still has the card I paid for and accept it was a mistake and wait for the correct card to come.
The other thing is, I'll likely have to return the card they sent me, tracked and insured etc which will cost me around $12. Do I have to pay that or does the seller? I always pay it when I'm at fault but I am not sure if that is actual ebay policy.
